Open and Free Software

These pages list Free and Open Source Software I use and provide links to software tables where you can find at least one alternative to almost every software out there.

The pages contain links to the software I currently use or have used in my laptop, the descriptions following the software's name were taken from the official pages when available but some are were adapted to be more to the point.

This software is the one I consider to be, to my knowledge, the best available, but please keep in mind that "best" can have different meanings to different users. Though I believe the software presented is easy to use, easy to install and is the most feature rich while being the most bug free of the alternatives I have tried, I can't possibly try every software that exists and I don't spend my time tracking new software ;)

You will also find links to software tables and listings providing you with a larger view of existing open source software that is a direct alternative to commercial software.
